What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file your browser stores on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage and short-lived session tokens.

Categories we use

Strictly necessary (always on — cannot be disabled)

• ikan_session — your signed-in session. Required to use authenticated areas. Expires after 7 days.
• ikan_cookie_pref and its localStorage counterpart — remember whether you allowed analytics. 12 months.
• Short-lived security and abuse-prevention data needed to protect forms, accounts, and service availability.

Feature preferences

• Device preferences such as language, accessibility, saved homes, and interface settings are stored only when you use those features.
• Secure traveler links and Aira conversation state are used to deliver the feature you requested; they are not product analytics.
• Clearing this storage may reset convenience settings but does not change your analytics choice.

Analytics (opt-in)

When enabled, we use PostHog to count page views and feature usage and Vercel Speed Insights to measure real-user page performance. Neither initializes, retains pre-consent events, or creates analytics storage until you choose “Allow analytics”. No advertising IDs are used. You can opt out anytime by clicking “Manage cookies” in the footer.

Marketing

None. We don’t run ads on ikan Residences and we don’t share data with ad networks. We may run paid campaigns elsewhere, but those tags are not embedded in our product surface.

Manage cookies

Click “Manage cookies” in the footer to re-open your preferences. Choosing “Necessary only” stops future analytics capture and clears the analytics identity. You can also clear site data in your browser settings; clearing necessary storage may sign you out and reset device preferences.
